Joyciline Jepkosgei trying to break clear of 4 other women at 35km.

Scharr took a few seconds of the women's wheelchair course record.

Charlotte Purdue who controversially wasn't selected for Tokyo is on pace for 2:22 which only Paula Radcliffe has beaten amongst British women.

Hug has finished in, I think, a little over 1:20.

Elite women went through halfway in 68:51.

Chairs approaching 30K, with Hug and Schar leading!

Men apparently began a half hour after the women , with first 5000 in 14:33.
    Women past 15K in 49:07!
So Men at about 2:02:40 pace, with women at about 2:18:00 pace!

I'll be interested to see what Shalane Flanagan runs this time!
Her plan was to run just "sub-3:00" in all 6 races!
So her 2:38:32 in Berlin was surprising!
See if she changes plans to run all 6 in under 2:40!!

BTW, she's replacing the Tokyo race with a virtual one in Portland!
