TV coverage beins at 5 a.m. on NBCSN, so I assume the race starts around 7:30.
    Shouldn't be too warm then!

Both male & female pacers are GONE!!!
Ruth's pacer left just after 10K!
          Men's left about 15K!!

          Ruth at 47:15 at 15K---10's of 15:37, 15:45, then 15:53!
But still way ahead of WR pace, still weell under 2:13 pace!
At 10K. 2nd woman was Vivian Kiplagat, at 2:14:13 pace, or a;lmost 2 minutes behind Chepngetich!

Sara isn't going for the A

Chepngetich slowed WAY down on 4th 5K---to 16:39!!
Now running at high 2:14 pace, off WR pace!

Men still on Course Record pace, with Rupp not far off---still apparently well under AR pace---even Hall's Boston time!

McFadden still well ahead after 25K!
4 man field for the men, very tight!

Just saw the ending - what a great race by Tura and Rupp - looked like a headwind in the late stages. Great times too, considering.

Coverage still abominable for the Women!!
A bit now & then on Ruth, but almost nothing on anyone else, including Sara!!
Has Bates or D'Amato caught her?
                  Who the fuck knows??!!

A lot of drop outs ....the weather really affected the 2nd half.

Emma Bates beat Hall by almost 3 minutes!
Hall was on fumes for the final 2 or 3K, Bates was fastest finisher, even than Ruth!!
                          4th also American--D'amato??

The women really fell off in the 2nd half. Tough conditions.
