Saved herself for Boston, her home turf??
She was 1st in the 40+ division, and ended 25th woman!

Emma Bates beat Hall by almost 3 minutes!
Hall was on fumes for the final 2 or 3K, Bates was fastest finisher, even than Ruth!!
