I'm all about my FL homey, and the 400 is all his, but FSU's Dix is gonna be one tough hombre to beat in the deuce. 8)

      ah , but taf,

dix isn't capable of running 20.02 off just brute strength !!!

Brute strength isn't all it's cracked up to be on an indoor track, even one like Fayetteville's. Dix doesn't stand a chance against X outdoors, but indoors the door is cracked a little bit at least.

                    X-man not Superman

You have to wonder how much that 45.53 took out of him.

                        ms louise

please go easy on all us humble peons

xav &/or his team are dickheads forcing him to run a 400 on the same day as his full 200's

i don't care if he he runs 45-flat tomorrow, but they have have screwed him already by doing too much endurance work with him running these consecutive sub-46's, when he isn't clearly a 400 guy - yet

if he coudn't get lane 5 or 6 for the 200 finals beforehand, this suggests to me that his "team" have screwed him already & geared all his training to the wrong event - the 400

if he had his decent 200 speed, he wouda walked to 6th lane in the final

this boy can/?will be olympic 200 champion - you don't screw him up by forcing him to lose his speed by doubling him early season & run big college 400 finals:

they never trained zebra to run 400i ncaa

they never trained capel to run 400i ncaa

they never trained deloach to run 400i ncaa

they never trained King to run 400i ncaa

                        wins breed confidence

this boy shoud be '08 champ in 200 og

to do that, you need some wins in that event to build confidence

today may have killed off some base confidence...
