Is getting an injury the same as “breaking down?”

    Just curious about that correlation.

If I remember correctly she got injured right at the start of outdoor. So it want even like she had a long season…🤷🏾‍♂️

Her coaches tinkered with her form, trying to get her to cross her body more with her arms to get around tight indoor turns better. It appears that ill-advised plan has been shelved. She’s never been injury prone and I suspect with her form back to normal last year will prove to be a one-off issue.

I would say they are not quite the same because an injury that might be described as a "minor niggle" would not be "breaking down".

          • Breaking down implies over-work in training.
