    From today's WA article:
"The Road to Oregon tool on the World Athletics website shows which athletes – subject to being officially selected by their member federation – have qualified to compete at the World Championships, either by entry standard or world ranking position within a discipline’s quota."

So, if one interprets that very strictly, only those in today's 'final' WA Road to Oregon list are qualified, based on each event's entry number (e.g. USATF can't move in McPherson in last year's example).

Also, note... An hour ago, we could see both big-Q's and little-q's (those by ranking)... it looks like they are going through another update as it only list those by entry standard at this moment.

    Update: looks like it refreshed.

      Ok, here's where I am now . . . . . .

      A. There's a set number (N) of entries per event.
      B. Using the order of finish at the USATF Championships, USATF will choose you if you're in the top N in today's (6/29) WA list on the 'Road to Oregon' page.

      but . . .
      C. Some nations may decline spots, so WA may continue down the list to fill the fields to N. That means that people on the bubble (Grey?) may indeed make the team - or is will it be too late if the USA has already named its 3?

If WA follows there printed rules it is too late to decline per verbiage from post 59 in this thread.

Oooh, so we will probably have fields below N!

Anyone actually following these lists close enough to tell if anything has changed today versus yesterday.

Word from Aretha at USATF is that the lists will not be updated anymore. Athletes will be notified directly of acceptance (most have this already) and team announcements will clarify who is in or out.

Anyone bored and want to check the "Road to Oregon" lists against actual Oregon22 entries to see how deep they went down some of the lists to get close to the target entries? I looked at the men's High Jump and they went down to 38 Rivera to get a field of 29.
