Holy shit! That’s faster pace than her half-marathon PR(1:10:01, also at Houston)

Runnerup behind Vicoty Chepngeno 1:05:03. More good stuff in top 6: Dominique Scott 1:07:32, Fiona O'Keefe 1:07:42, Jessica Judd 1:07:52, Emily Durgin 1:07:54.

            BTW, D'Amato won by 10 minutes. Winning men's times unremarkable ... 1:00:xx and 2:11.xx

Cross Country ain't ma thang, but the Kenyan National Championships are certainly a bellwether for the outdoor distance scene.

Winners were Geoffrey Rono (27:49) and Emily Chebet (32:13).

                        Pretty amazing.

I don't think anyone expected her to break the AR, something that Flanagan and Linden did not achieve in their careers.

Two American records and we bury it in a thread entitled "Everything that will happen this year" that will end up with thousands of posts? Meanwhile a guy runs a fast 60 and that gets a dedicated thread?

'We' includes 'You' in this case. Anyone can start a thread.

Still trying to wrap my head around this one. The entirety of her profile doesn't add up to an AR.
