Some highlights from Europe in the last few days:

Kladno Hazia Kladenske Memorial, Kladno, 14 June: James Preston 800m 1:45.37 PB (1), elevates him from ninth to third behind the two Knights; Peter Snell and John Walker on the New Zealand all-time list.

Merck-Laufgala, Pfungstadt, 18 June: James Preston, 800m, 1:45.30 PB (4). He betters his PB for the second time in four days. Could he be the man to finally take down Snell's NZ record, the oldest in the NZ books.

Paris Diamond league - Hobbs with her 2nd fastest ever legal time 11.10 for 6th on debut in the DL - good effort - what chance sub 11 this year with people to chase for a change!

I'm not sure Hobbs can go sub-11 this season but congrats to her for a great series of runs so far in 2022.
