Great to see Muhammad frequently running the hurdles despite not needing to prep for trials. Doubt it will happen, but would be great to see Muhammad vs McLaughlin before the Eugene final.

USATF or WC? DM might not even contest the USATF 400H. Just the 400 (and maybe only the prelims there).

        Yea Eugene Final = Worlds.
think Muhammad already confirmed she is only doing the 400m at trials

              a. Too late; I had already fixed it.
              b. They - the Brits - call them 'start lists' on the website.

This seems like one of the earliest Diamond League meets ever in Europe, or at least in England/GBR.

Edit: Going back to '98 (Golden League), this appears to be true, but only by a few days. Gateshead was 5/23 last year, Rome 5/26 another year.

Sure hope we don't have 'Brit weather' to mess this one up.

Right now I see . . . partly cloudy, 64°F, 10% chance of rain (which means there's a GOOD chance!).

                    a headline from this afternoon:

UK weather: Temperature hits 27.5C on hottest day of the year so far with Britain hotter than Ibiza and Athens

                    and then there's this one:

Saharan dust set to hit UK this week with potential 'blood rain' forecast to return

ETH vs. Jackson so soon? I'll be impressed if they both make the start line, and I'm not even sure who's the favourite at this stage. Could easily see either taking it.

Your spidey senses were right; Thompson-Herah has withdrawn after "suffering some discomfort in training".

Are we going to see another 17/19 from her, trying to manage a niggle that ultimately affects her World Champs? I said on another thread, the way Paulino is running, we could see another year with no SMU World gold and now the same for Thompson-Herah! Fingers crossed we see them both in form for the Worlds though.
