I don't know what the weather is like, but I'm keeping my eye on Nia Ali and Quincy Hall in the hurdles.

Nia Ali IMO is a serious silver medal threat and, if JCQ makes any mistakes, might defend her title.

Just an hour, to avoid some rain/wind cells. Now 7-9:30pm.

Current forecast for 7pm: 76F, 52% chance of rain and dropping, 87% humidity, winds 9mph (and dropping) from SE (sprints run N to S, but can be reversed).

5pm update - I can hear thunder in the distance regularly

Another weather delay, lightning more then rain pushing the meet back another hour, 8:00pm est.

Everyone taking shelter underneath the stadium.

Might be the most talented congregation of track and field athletes I've ever seen!

And yes I did see the rare SCR, and it is a sight to behold!!!

This ain't looking good for the home team - it's raining AND thundering now. Even 8pm is 58% chance of rain, and radar looks dark.
