Richardson is a college senior age-wise, so she's young enough to have a great career if she ever shows the commitment to the sport that she had as a freshman.

Also, after last year as well Carmelita Jeter moved from Alabama to coach at USC

FloJo, Marion, and Steiner are the only Americans to run 21.80 or faster three times. Gwen Torrence is the only other American to do it twice

Happy for Abby. Great for Tamara Clark (and her coach Carmalita Jeter) who almost made the Olympic team last year running sub-22 then. Another team for Prandini, hopefully she'll make a major final finally.

21.77, into a light headwind, and after a semifinal.
Definitely more there.

Huge performance for Tamara Clark. Shes been a bit slept on all season, but she has been creeping up and preparing for this and she delivered with a personal best and spot on the team.

Unfortunately Gabby Thomas couldn’t recover from her injury in time for this meet

Hurt or not, Gabby will go hard. If she twitches, she'll pull up. How close will Abby get to Gabby's 21.61 from last year?

"Just know I’m not slowing down" - could have fooled me. More like her talking hasn't slowed down.
