  • Gabe's Back !!!

Way back - 25th out of 27 at the Stanford Invite.

Note: I apologize for the cheap, humorous (to me, anyways) shot at Gabe, done solely to get yet another Gabe thread going. If I could run a 14:17 5k I’d think I’d died and passed through the pearly gates . . .

When an x -3:35 1500 runner runs 14:17 it IS news but not the kind that will make Tafnut smile.

As I do EVERY Stanford Invite, I have to report on a one Jim Sorensen, 38-years-old (39 in May). Sorensen ran a 14.22,88 in 5.000m section 2.

Cabada must be pencilled in for most-improved up to this season, right? He didn:t fare very well at Arkansas after graduating from high school (Buchanan) in Fresno, CA. Has found his niche, and is making great strides this season (won NAIA), and recorded 4.04/7.59/13.49 this indoor season. Ran 13.50,99 last year at Stanford.

Should I respond with something like: And David Hasselhof is still singing!

Was Hasselhoff ever considered to be a good singer? :?

A 3:35 is news and a 14:17 is not. So what’s your point?

His post was pretty clear. Yours isn't-either time. Still with the double posting issues, I see.

I look at it as a 2000 Olymipan making a comeback in track'n'field. A possible (word used loosely) celeb. Therefore, whatever he does, news or not, will be talked about. Could this be a possible root canal (if it is not on that thread)?
