You wouldn't know it in the stadium, unless you notice her name is missing from the standings board.

The lady PA announcer never mentioned the situation, which seem 'nice' but was not keeping the crowd abreast of the situation with the mHJ being introduced.

2nd throw into the cage. Very surprising. Some folks like to aim on that one. Allman's 68m is so tough. Great set-up from her and Coach Sion. Full movement with lots of energy is a safe throw for her. The replay showed that Allman didn't even move her start to the back of the circle (see photo) for that 3rd round. That is confidence in the training and the technique.

On the broadcast I am watching, Allman freely admitted to letting her nerves get the best of her. But was feeling good after her clutch 3rd throw.

The Swedish (SVT) broadcast. Val was being interviewed by one of the stadium reporters.

One of my all-time favorite clutch throws.

Is there an athlete in the sport right now that comes across as more likeable than Allman? She just looks like someone I'd enjoy hanging around with, watching a game and sharing a pizza.

My impression also, although I don't expect to be sharing a pizza. I will just worship her talent and personality from afar.
