Why is Valerie Adams presenting the TJ medals? Surely there is a more appropriate event.

Nice to see Franklin get the Bronze with a clutch jump. By less than an inch (2cm) but that was enough.

The average of Rojas' top 10 legal performances (that's comps not jumps) is now 15.465.

Other women who've ever jumped that far AT ALL:
          1. Inessa Kravets...

No Europeans in the top 7, and only three in the final! Complete turnaround from wTJ's first few appearances; in each of '93, '95 and '97 there was only one non-European in the final.

Well, she can't break your heart if she doesn't get your hopes up in Q!

WTF happened to MBR? Her Q jump would have put her in 6th (and that of Mäkelä would put her in the top 8 even with MBR matching her Q jump)

She landed awkward in one phase on one jump, had a huge (Over 15m) on her second, then just seemed out of gas on her third. Or was too cautious.

There was one big jump at the end (Orge, Franklin?) over 15m but it had a non-trivial foul at the board (10cm?), but in my quick view it seemed like the net jump was close to 15m.

Just one inch shy of the 1987 Meet Record!
Hope she does it next year in Hungary!!

                          *1995. Wasn't introduced until 1993.
