I read some interviews with Hassan in Dutch media. She was very blunt about Eugene, saying that she got everything she wanted out of Doha and Tokyo to the point she thought she didn't have to train fully and could get away with talent alone. But she said the final 100 meters in Eugene taught her otherwise, since she gave all she had but it wasn't nearly enough because the other girls had prepared for it and she had not.

Hassan said she learned her lesson. If she wants more medals she'll have to work hard for them. For the remainder of this season she plans to run some Diamond League 1500s and 3000s. She said she doesn't need any rest this time, unlike last year.
