grammar correction upon request. still not ok but better...

I don't get paid for this but someone complained, and perhaps rightfully so about my typos and grammar. I'll spend a little time to correct....

Robert Martin does not ring a bell at all and I apologise in advance incase I ran into Robert and don't recall. Certainly we were not intimate at any point.

Regarding Canada, yes I'm Canadian but my support from Canada was nil.
I have little to do with Canadian athletics. The US and NZ were very supportive.
This is a strange phenomena too. N. Willis had no support from home, not to compare myself with that, but he got good support in the US.

NZ sport jumped in the bandwagon once he made it..
I guess everyone likes the guy from out of town...

I was very pleased to see the US team do so well in the 4K. It wasn't just Goucher, although he is on fire. Hall delivered, Torres and Lincoln were both solid and Lincoln says he had a bad day. I predict a sub 13min 5K for Goucher and a 13:0X for Hall this year. If Webb runs some 5Ks we might see 3 Americans under 13min (Goucher, Webb, Legat) this year.

The US 12K team was not so good, but the women and juniors were all decent. Thing are looking good for US distance running.

Not exactly sure what point you are trying to contradict with that but you haven't succeeded.

You may want to give number nine a quick review:

Kind of accurate but he would have had to leave shortly thereafter in any event because Brantford did not have a high enough level team.

    CHA unveils new ad campaign

'Relax, it's just a game' asks parents
to chill out at the hockey rink

    By Rick Hodgson

On a Toronto street, a police officer pulls over a driver for speeding.

During the exchange between the constable and the driver, the man’s son pipes up from the back seat:

“Come on. That was a bad call,” he says. “Stand up for yourself.”
The caption on this print ad reads: "What if kids pressured us the way we pressure them?"

It’s not a real scenario. It’s from a promotional video. But it makes a point.

The tag line reads: “What if kids pressured us the way we pressure them? Relax. It’s just a game.”

    bekele and athletes word.

As a general rule its better not to call anyone a liar unless you really know what you're talking about and even then you want to use caution.

But unfortunately, once your on top, there are all kinds of losers out there for some reason take it upon themselves to criticize....

He went from Ontario to Quebec, you know where English is supposidly
resented a bit at least. He was welcomed with open arms his art work in hockey was much appreciated.

Once you become good, there is a line up of losers to slag you.
The same losers later on often jump on the band wagon....
The story is repeated over and over.
The good coach needs to mentor the athlete through this unfortunate phenomena.

Or, maybe this time he'll really make good of his word.
He gave no "word". In athletics it's not the same as making a promise to people in your personal life, or for that matter just keeping your word (in case you don't like the concept of "promising"). He spoke to the media about his intentions at this time, and if he changes his mind later, so what? That some sort of integrity problem or something?

If Bekele says he's gonna run so-and-so meet this summer and later he doesn't, who am I to say he didn't keep his word? These guys report to the media their intentions at the time, and let's remember that they don't owe anybody even that little information. If he comes back next year and runs the World XC, he didn't fail to keep his word. He didn't lie. We sometimes forget that it's really none of our business what Bekele plans on doing or if he even does it. This whole sport is about adjusting, adapting, and making decisions, often at the last minute.

Geb was going to double in Atlanta until his feet were so torn and bloodied that he decided not to. Guess he can't be trusted to keep his word, huh? Bekele was originally going to double in the 5 and 10 last summer, but changed his mind because he wanted his legs fresh for a WR attempt. Even under pressure from his own countrymen, he stood his ground. He never "failed to keep his word" and then he stood his ground and firmly stuck to his new plans. Let's be fair to the guy and be careful about casting any dispersions on his character without good reason.
