    400IH ever run this early. The previous best was 50.47 by Dwight
    Ruff (Camden, NJ) at Penn in 2001. After that, all the sub-50.50
    times (17 of them) were run after June 8th.>>

    Hope he does not peak too early.

      I don't think that is what is happening here. He is clearly focusing on the hurdles, and has both the 300h and 400h records in his sights. Don’t have any inside info on his training, but his results so far this year in the hurdles (clearly improved over last year) and the LJ/HJ events (not doing as well as last year) are indicative of a much tighter focus on the hurdles.

      Nice article on his part of the meet, and his goals.
