Hardee Misses CR By A Point At Texas

2003 -- 5th at NCAA (MSU)
2004 -- 2nd at NCAA (MSU)
2005 -- 1st at NCAA (UT)
2006 -- ?

Hmm. I thought both Hardee and Powell were Frosh at Sacto '03, but on the results page, Hardee is listed as Jr, Powell as Sr. The ole memory ain't so good anymore.

Well, looking at my '03 NCAA program, they were both listed as frosh.

That's another 30 points, putting him at 8386. Assuming no further clearance in the PV, he needs to improve by about 30 points an event in the last two to get the CR. That's about 6ft in the jav and 4 seconds in the 1500. Anybody want to bet against it?

They had boards in the area for standards position and time left, but nothing to show the height being attempted... sigh

That's weird, they're usually pretty good about that at Texas.

I thought Donovan cleared 5.10 while Trey passed and then Donovan jumped 5.20 and cleared on his 3rd attempt as well as Trey on his third. We will see I guess though.

If he cleared 5.10, he adds 41 points, putting him at 8397. If he cleared 5.20, he adds another 31, for 8428, just 14 points from setting CR. (If my math is right!)
