Best Time of the Year

People talk about how cool it is going to National Championships, Grand Prix meets, etc., but April is my favorite time of the year because the top American (being jingoistic here) athletes come out of hibernation, the college/HS athletes round into shape, which translates into a myriad of surprising performances that foretells the excitements to come. It is the anticipation that makes it all so great. Look at some of the home-page headlines and you'll see lots of Big Names who are debuting in the next few weeks.

according to the graffiti at the restaurant I was in last nite, the best time of the year would be "with Judi". Can't verify if that is gospel :shock:
