Ah, not happening. Ta Lou smokes Richardson & the other Americans with 10.94, winning by a full 0.2s from TT Terry.

Theory . . . SCR is built like wLJer T Davis - not big, almost fragile-looking, despite being obviously fit.
Does that contribute to both of their inconsistency in performance?

Huh! Bracy did the same thing he did in Eugene, leaned too early, and the same thing happened - someone passed him at the very end. This time Aaron Brown of Canada (10.12). DeGrasse wasn't ever in it.

She is this year's "Kate Grace" and so is Heather MacLean.

Watched ISTAF on TV here in Germany.
This was Nadine Mueller's retirement meet. She got silver in Daegu and bronze in Beijing WC, plus 2x EC silver, in the discus. They gave her the final throw, after Allman's 70m throw. Unfortunately she threw into the net. But the other throwers made her a "gauntlet" to run through, as in the EC decathlon.

Lyles was actually there because of Gina L├╝ckenkemper. They trained together, and he mentioned always wanting to run on the Berlin track. She told him about the meet, and he had his agent set it up. (From Gina interview.)
In w5000 winner Chebet lapped Semenya.

Largely unnoticed in the grand scheme of things was Luna Thiel's 400m win in 51.28, a big PB from here - she had never broken 52 secs before - and the 5th fastest German in the last 22 years, behind Breuer (49.78/ 2001) Schwab (50.91/ 2022) Ekpoh-Umoh (51.13/ 2001) & Ghosh (51.25/ 2001)

If Schwab can be more consistent then Germany might actually start regularly making the 4x4 final again like they did back in the early 00's (their best performance since the retirement of Grit Breuer was 4th in 2009. Since then, they have only ever made a World Final once, in 2017 when they finished 6th)

You forgot to add that the T&F's "biggest star" was 3rd in that race.
