TY. I last spoke German in 1980 while backpacking Europe. Is that a thing anymore? The world has changed, I had no fear in 1976 as an 18yr old on my first backpacking/Eurail pass trip, no one was bombing subways or burning cars, no "don't go there" parts of cities.
