Love all track events. So many good runners, do not know where to start.

I hope Team Jamaica gets an actual relay camp in and drops all the politics. Once they do that and stop focusing on the WR they will actually break the WR.

Last year was a great season and post-Bolt the sport is in great hands with so much depth in a lot of events.

Answering the original question the first person that comes to mind is Dina Asher-Smith. She's has the worst luck these past 2 championship seasons so I'm hoping for an injury-free season to see what she can produce with that deep pool of sprinters pushing her.

Abby Steiner, Sydney Mac, Marcell Jacobs, Steven Gardner, WVN.

If Syd moves to the 400, she is the challenger to Bol and Muhammad for the queen of the hurdles.

If Syd stays in the 400H, I think she is the best 400 runner in the US. She ran (48.59) on a relay leg at SEC 2022 and her 400 leg on the W4X4 at worlds blew the race open. I think she is capable of winning both the 400 / 400H at NCAAs 2023 if the schedule permits.

She is flying under the radar, and reminds me of an American version of Bol, perhaps a step faster in flat 400 speed. I think she has a good family around her to keep her grounded, a strong college program for structure, healthy and is ready for take off.
Is it realistic for Syd to run both the 400 and 400h? Does training for the 400h impact her 400s or vice versa?

I am hoping to see Tara Davis back long jumping at a top level.

              ? Wilson's 400m flat PBs are 50.05/50.88i & 48.6 relay leg; whilst Bol's are 49.44/50.30i & a 48.5 relay leg.
