It was said earlier by someone that Hobbs is more likely to be in Budapest. Richardson is more likely to medal. That's of these two particular athletes.

Hobbs is on a role, and the confidence that gives an athlete is showing. She believes in herself and is certainly a solid bet to make the Budapest 100m team.
Whilst Richardson appears confident, it looks like it comes from a place of insecurity. But she has been in blazing form so far this year. Let's see how the head holds up come the US Trials.

She'll go faster this year, but she won't 'run' it any better.
I was surprised to hear how little Trey Cunningham goes over hurdles in his training, but when seasoned pros run, they know exactly how to run it (not that they always do - nerves being nerves).

Given MVP's history, I believe Shericka will be very difficult to beat. I know she wants the WR over 200M, but her 100M will be deadly this year, barring injury of course.

Had no idea! The World Athletics Council has today made a number of important decisions regarding the future participation of the Russian and Belarusian Member Federations in athletics, and the eligibility regulations for athletes who are transgender or who have Differences of Sexual Development
The new DSD regulations require 2 years of T reduction, for all women's events, but Mboma and other already-active DSD athletes are grandfathered in with 6 months.
