She's been a bit of a mystery girl/woman, and hearing her talking about herself and her experiences gives insight into why she is who she is. She was on fumes in Eugene, due to her interrupted training, and beat Keely on sheer will. She was kinda flaky in her racing in HS, but certainly learned some tough lessons.
I do believe that Kersee WILL take her to another level, and I loved that she appreciates Keely's rivalry.

and Letsrun has the scoop on D Brazier
He took time off and got an MRI in January [2023] that showed some inflammation where the surgery had taken place. When a follow-up MRI six weeks later showed no progress, Brazier flew back to Denver in February for his third surgery in the last 20 months to clean out some scar tissue. . . . .
“My Achilles is looking great from the [initial] surgery by the sounds of it, but that bone back there just isn’t quite healing the way it should be,” Brazier says, noting that he is not a medical expert and generally leaves the details to his doctors. “…Hopefully [the second surgery is] going to relieve some of that pressure and allow that bone to fully recover back there.”
Brazier still isn’t running right now, making this the longest he’s gone during his professional career without any running training. He is hoping to return to running within a month, but he’s not locked in to a timeline and says his number one goal in 2023 is to get back to being 100% healthy.
I don't see how he could make the team this year . . . but Paris, next?Last edited by Atticus; 03-21-2023, 10:06 PM.

Looks interesting!
"Three American record-holders have joined what will be a star-studded lineup at the inaugural adidas Atlanta City Games. Meet organizers announced today that sprinter, Aleia Hobbs, heptathlete, Anna Hall and middle distance runner Ajeé Wilson have all committed to the event which will be held in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, May 6."

Any word on Steiner opening outdoors? She seems to have become the runner I am most interested in following.
(Do we need/want a separate thread for plans and announcements and keep one strictly for results? Or am I overthinking again?)
