Abu Gaba appears to be a WD.
Is this a name change for the athlete formerly known as Anas Abu-Ganaba (b.1996) or somebody different?

Also, the normal cutoff age for FISU is(or at least used to be) 25, so is this a one-off extension to account for the COVID years or a permanent change?

Extra detail on select performances that interested me.

    MDT

    1. Matt Denny (b.1996) 66.84 SB was 66.77, London 23 July. 5th best competition ever behind 67.26 PB for 1st at CWG '22.

    Series: 62.09 - 65.48 - 66.35 - 65.65 - 66.84 - 64.61 Mean=65.17.

Series mean would rank 5th on the AUS AT list (IAAF) ahead of former NR 65.06 by Wayne Martin in 1979. Series includes 3 throws in excess of 4th ranked Scott Martin's 65.63! Harradine (68.20) and Wruck (68.16) at 1 and 2 looking nervously over their shoulders!

    W800A

    8. Hayley Kitching (b.2004) 2-09.82 PB=2:02.12 for 3rd at U20 WC last year, SB=2:01.66 at SOP
AC. Consolidated in NCAA this year running 6 out of top-10 this year, including an AUS/OCE U20 record with 2:04.07i.

Seems Moloney started a decathlon in Cairns yesterday but pulled the pin after his shotput (11.05 into a -2.4 for his 100, legal 7.34 in LJ, 13.45 in SP). No other info at this stage.

At the same meet - (MLJ) Roper 8.04 (2.3)

Despite crowd-clapping & techo beat-music (which announcer said was Kylle Minogue but idk) Baden had three fails at 2.29m - only his 2nd looking anywhere close.

He needed to hear 'I Should Be So Lucky'..
