- Ollie Boltz - son of Olympic distance runners Danny Boltz (AUS/SUI) & Jill Hunter (GBR)
- Sayla Donnelly (daughter of former 400m runner Amber Menzies)
- Ebony Newton (daughter of former 400m hurdler Rebecca Campbell)

A fine 61.46m for the defending Aussie javelin champ McKenzie Little to beat the double World Champ Kelsey-Lee Barber.

Kelsey saying she wasn't happy with her 57.05m but it was much better than her first throws in 2021 where she went on to win Olympic bronze.
