Saw women's formchart story today on the main page of the TFN site today ... with a photo of the retired Kara Winger. The story mentioned says "Kara Winger also holds a Wild Card in the javelin but retired after winning the DL title."

Is there a reason Britton Wilson isn't on the form chart for the women's 400m?

Strange having TT Terry only 6th in the 100m right now.

She's given the first choice in 400mH

Yeah but she's pretty clearly top 2 at the very least for the flat 400 as well, and considering that it says the form charts are made without considering what events athletes will run it just feels very off to not have her there

Well, I guess we can take Val Constien off from the next formchart in the steeple. Saw on IG that she tore her ACL in Doha and is out for 2023.

Men's formchart just released. Lots of interesting stuff...
              A few random thoughts:
              • How deep is our men's 100 right now when recent 9.90 performer Noah Lyles is "only" # 5?
              • Michael Norman listed in three events: 100(9), 200(6) and 400 (1) ... 200 is awfully deep too
              • 800: Wondering if Donovan Brazier (not listed) will make a comeback?
              • 1500: Nuguse only 3rd behind Teare and Thompson, ahead of Hocker. Teare is also 8 in the 5k, where I feel like he'd have a great shot.
              • ST: Jager still in the mix at # 2
              • HJ: After Harrison and McEwen (no surprise), interested to see what kind of form Turner and "newcomer" McBride can attain.

The intro to the form chart doesn't say that (that I can see, anyway).

It does say: "The listing of an athlete in a discipline doesn’t guarantee she’ll contest that event (or events)." That has a different meaning, entirely.

Not that it matters, but how come Valby is seeded ahead of Tuohy in the 5000? Is it because of how much Tuohy has raced since XC compared to Valby?

Josh Thompson beating Nuguse ? Personally I think that Nuguse will beat Teare, assuming both healthy.

Yeah that looked bad at the time, sorry to see it.

Agree, Wilson's amazing one day double at the SEC suggests she'll crush the rounds and be a factor in whatever event(s) she chooses to run.

Same selector had Tuohy 4th in the 5000m at NCAA. I realize that these are just prognostications and of one person but there are some really weird ones which make them either very ignorable or make me think the author isn't familiar with some events.
