Naser now also listed in the 400m. I'm really keen to see if she can do better than her last, rather disappointing outing (52.2) and more like her opener (50.8). When you've been away from an event like the 400m for so long, you have to learn to pace your race again.

Women's 400 and 100 Hurdles, yes, definitely DL quality. The Men's PV & Women's 100 are getting there. Otherwise, definitely not, with the result that every DL meeting will be able to exceed the quality of this meeting.Last edited by LuckySpikes; 05-25-2023, 09:44 AM.

And whilst competing frequently in no way makes someone innocent (*cough* Marion Jones, par example..) I do prefer that to preparing behind closed doors and hardly/never racing.
Lane draw will be fun...who has the biggest negotiating power in this race I wonder?
It was Naser's birthday this week, and she was out late eating carbs & fat. Probably the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever seen (you Americans sure do have big portions..) so if she runs poorly I'm blaming it on the birthday meal.

As a guy who thinks of the sport as field & track, hence my exuberance about the meet as a whole.

edit - Hey, y'all been gaslighting me! I just noticed that the entry lists have changed A LOT. Scratches and adds galore. Still a stupendous meet!Last edited by Atticus; 05-26-2023, 03:04 PM.
