The head-on shot did show that Hobbs eased off, but Ta Lou also eased off and from my vantage point, did so before Hobbs after gliding right past her. Ta Lou looked super easy, her running style seems slightly different to me, but I'll defer to others with more technical expertise.

      Did Hobbs ease off?
May have. Top 4 advanced from each heat, so she didn't have to do much. She was also fiddling with the front of her left ankle before they got in the blocks.

SCR from Ta Lou from Hobbs seems like a safe prediction.

She and SCR run more upright, which gets the knees up higher

The wind must not be good for JT. Both m&w look . . . off.

CMurphy runs hot and cold (pun!). He's hot today. 1:44.75

Mu's partner (Kersee!) B Miller ran ragged, as did Hoppel - running thru today's meet?

Oof, fly and die for Kirani James. Sean Bailey had a great finish to win the 400 in 44.43, James 2nd in 44.50.

Gotta like him. Progressing every year, now 28yo. His attitude reminds me of Edwin!

Last and 12.69 is a damn good bad outing. She obviously has work to do, with Camacho-Quinn going 12.30 and Harrison 12.35. It looked easy for the two of them.
