These numbers were so confusing given the active multi thread

Not bad. I wasn't terribly far off with my pre-meet guess of 6400.

She is not injured she just caught a cramp in her calf while in the blocks. Unfortunate timing, but said she is fine and will be running Racers grand prix this coming weekend.

Thanks, I knew I'd seen it somewhere ... according to this page, the best 6th is 12.61, making LA the new fastest - but it seems to be inaccurate, Keni Harrison ran 12.59 in Lausanne 2022, so this weekend's run by Danielle Williams is now =6th.

Maggie Ewen and Diribe Welteji are two of my favorites so I was pleased with that meet.

Welteji is finally beginning to assert herself. I say finally, meanwhile she is barely beyond her 21st birthday. I hope she sticks to the 1500 because it seems like major medal opportunity there as opposed to the 1500 where she'd probably face the same predicament as Eugene, falling behind Mu and Hodgkinson and dealing with the erratic strategy of Moraa.

On the World Athletics site, Welteji is ranked 6th at 800 and 5th at 1500. I doubt many track fans could come up with that name if asked to name the one male and one female ranked Top 10 in those events. Wightman is obviously the male.
