UPDATE
At the PAC-10 championships Boldi won the hammer with another big PB!
"Kocsor scored the first Bruin points of the meet, winning the men's hammer throw with a new freshman record of 219-1 (old best 212-11). Kocsor, battling the flu, threw lifetime-bests in five of his six attempts on the day, with the winning throw coming in the second round. The new mark moves Kocsor into the collegiate top-10, as he advanced from the No. 15 spot to the No. 9 spot on the national list. The throw also moves him to No. 2 all-time on the UCLA top-10."

UCLA Teen goes 219-1 in Hammer (updated
This kid Boldi Kocsor just tosses that thing 5 feet further each week! Just as important, he beat USC's Adam Midles for a 4-point swing in what promises to be a very close dual meet. With Brandon Johnson (400H + 4x4) injured, the Bruins need as many upsets like this as possible.

Look for this meet to also be a coming out party, on the college level, for Kevin Craddock.Tags: None
