  • Devetzi 14.64m, Halkia 57.03, Iakovakis 49.43

    from www.athletix.org

"Hrysopigi Devetzi jumped 14.64m, the best world mark so far, competing in the reek Clubs Chmapionships. The Olympics gold medallist Fani Halkia returned after two years and clocked 57.03 in the 400mh, while Periklis Iakovakis won the men's race in 49.43. Excellent start also for Luis Tsatoumas who had the better jump at 7.97m, under unfavourable weather conditions.
In Boise, Idaho, Eleni Kafourou jumped 6.31m and 13.18m and Irene Miliou threw the hammer at 59.50m"
"If Gaby worked as hard with the weights as she did with her tongue she'd have a different concept of beauty. To get performances like mine, she'd have to sacrifice some of her good looks. The women of the west dont work as hard as we do" JK
