It's listed on the Super GP results page at +1.7, but the article on the front page lists it as 2.0m/s. Not to be a wet blanket, but I'm a bit dubious of that gauge reading. As much as I see his talent, that's an awfully big jump for Gatlin (not to mention Fasuba -- who drops their PB from 10.09, to 9.92, to 9.84, all in one day?!!

They sent out a formal correction that the 2.0 was an error. Reading on results has always been 1.7, and has been confirmed a ssuch

usual story with men's 3k - good 1st km in 2'28, then the broke-dick pacer collapses in the next one ( his time was 5'02 ) & then a phenomenal 2'26 last km from isaac

you know, i've heard shadrack's name a few times before, so presumably he must be a reasonable pacer

is it that hard for them to go < 5'00, when the 1st pacer does the initial km in 2'30 ( 2nd pacer draftin in ) & then 2nd pacer holds on for another 2'30 ?

anyhows, gatlin has set kennster an example - he said it was "off-year" ( in terms of globals ) & year to chase times

it's time for kennster to go for 1.5k & 3k times ( he's already got 5 & 10k wrs, so just keeping on revising them isn't likely to make much of an impact ( as we know he can already break them again ) )
