I think if 6-10 of us got together we could MAYBE pace him to 2K as a relay!! I know for a fact that I could go about 250m MAX at that pace. :-)

when did the wind reading get changed to +2.0?

It's listed on the Super GP results page at +1.7, but the article on the front page lists it as 2.0m/s. Not to be a wet blanket, but I'm a bit dubious of that gauge reading. As much as I see his talent, that's an awfully big jump for Gatlin (not to mention Fasuba -- who drops their PB from 10.09, to 9.92, to 9.84, all in one day?!!

They sent out a formal correction that the 2.0 was an error. Reading on results has always been 1.7, and has been confirmed a ssuch

Immediately after the race, the wind gauge in the stadium showed +1.7. You can verified this on the video of the race +1.7 appreas on the TV screen.

is it that hard for them to go < 5'00, when the 1st pacer does the initial km in 2'30 ( 2nd pacer draftin in ) & then 2nd pacer holds on for another 2'30 ?

anyhows, gatlin has set kennster an example - he said it was "off-year" ( in terms of globals ) & year to chase times

it's time for kennster to go for 1.5k & 3k times ( he's already got 5 & 10k wrs, so just keeping on revising them isn't likely to make much of an impact ( as we know he can already break them again ) )
