  • Who should be disappointed?

This started on another thread, but might be better as a new one.

Post World Champs, which countries should be most happy going into Athens and which should be concerned?

There're a few nations who may be unhappy with their champs:
    UK, Kenya, Germany, Finland, US?

And a few who must be rapt:
    Ethopia, Sweden, Belarus, Greece?...

    Any others for both lists?

Happy: Canada -- a bronze and a gold (which is good for them), a few top 8 finishes plus a few more near-misses.

    Unhappy: Greece

I'd say that France has some reason to be happy.

Jawohl on France! First time with two victories since what, 1809?

Germany and England are in a deep rut. There may not be enough time to improve for Athens. The Russian team looks strong going into Athens.
