Youngquist drops appeal

RRW just shipped this information around and on front page.

Word from a friend that ran in 2004 Women's OT Marathon is that she received difference in prize money caused by Youngquist DQ sometime last year.

Did they get it back from her or just not pay it or pay the additional funds I wonder?

No idea. I just know she got paid the $ due. I kinda doubt they ever paid Youngquist for the OT race.

The governing bodies have gotten pretty smart about not paying out any cash until all rest results are in; suspect the only place they got may have been caught short was w/ the way-later discoveries on THG

Hmmm...kind of makes you wonder if the 7th place finisher in the second quarterfinal of the 1992 Olympic Trials 400 meters might have been on something!
