The weather was poor, but winning marks of 3:07.x and 40.6x would not do particularly well in the Regional meets and the sprint time typically would not win the HS State Meet in Texas. The women ran 3:25 for a WL (how much better than the NCAAs or was that team of mixed nationalities?). How come the Russian women are SO much better than the men?
