No Indy newspaper, TV pre-Meet publicity ( so far)

I sure hope they heat things up in the Sunday paper, but at this point, the meet is not even on the radar screen. Ditto for TV.

Drove by the track yesterday and soccer goals are still in the middle of the field !

As in, Eugene remains about the only city in the country that embraces a track meet whole hog (it helps to be smaller of course).

I ran by the stadium this morning and the soccer goals are still there. There is a lot of activity in and around the stadium and the scoreboard is up and operational. There is no news coverage I can detect.

Walt, the 2 that I know about are:

Neither one are on the corners replacing the normal signs; rather, they are in the middle of the block:

Adam Nelson is on the south side of Washington St. between Meridian and Illinois, right across from Rock Bottom Restaurant.

Shawn Crawford is on south side of Maryland St. just west of Capitol, alongside north side of Convention Center.

I'm sure there are others but I have not looked for them.
