  • Thörnblad (2,30m), Green (1,92m) Win in Lund

Thörnblad continued at 2.30m and again he made it on his third attempt. Then he ordered the bar up to 2.33m, a ‘would be’ world best for 2006, and his first attempt was really good but the height was too good for him in the end.

Holm is considered to be stronger than he ever has been. Watch out when he finally gets his form in line with his strength.

But is strength really the key ingredient in HJ? Or will too much focus on it hurt Holm's jumping in the end?

I think the 2.07 (PB) that he did in scissor-technique in training is a good indication that he's jumping isn't that bad. with three weeks of training now until the swedish champs I really think that he can find more security in is jumping and be back on his game well before the euro champs.
