Sanya has a PR of 22.25 seconds from this season.
Sanya is very strong and I do expect her to go out fast betting on her strength to carry her through in the homestretch.

If Simpson continues to run as she did in Rome and how she ran in Kingston, I do expect Simpson to win.


If Simpson continues with her smashing performances, she could end the year with the fastest times in both the 100m and 200m(as she does right now) and rank #1 in both events at year end. Its still pretty early and do expect royal battles with Marion Jones and possibly Veronica Campbell if she comes back strong.

yes it is, but with long-ish straights (93m from memory) and tight curves.

I saw the tape of Simpson defeating Campbell in the 200 in Jamaica, very impressive. I say Simpson.

Reminds me somewhat of the Spearmon v. Wariner 200m contest. One with a greater force recruitment and the other with the larger range to the right of the anaerobic envelope. Hart's machines are more proficient in the latter. I believe Eldrick has it about right.

I saw the race on TV of Sherone running 22.00 in Kingston shutting down. She shut down a few meters before the finish line. Very impressive.
