  • Time to update T&FN's Best-Ever Marks-for-Place Listings

Don't know if this has been discussed on this board in a while, but the T&FN Best-Ever Marks-for-Place listings have apparently not been updated since 2004. It was disappointing not being able to determine if the Rome 1500 indeed was as deep as it looked at first glance and maybe a little history being made. For example, Moustaoui (10th in 3:32.80), Boulahfane (11th in 3:33.01), and Lukezic (12th in 3:33.28) all made the Best-Ever Marks-for-Places 10-11-12 on the 2004 version of the 1500 list. But did they make the list if updated through at least last season...?

According to the data at Peter Larsson's site (www.alltime-athletics.com), the BEMF 10th is 3:32.59 (Kamel Boulahfane), for 11th is 3:32.88 (Alvaro Fernández), for 12th is 3:32.95 (Juan Carlos Higuero), all from Brussels '04.
