Powell looked so easy in that run. Very very smooth.

Can't imagine what it's like to jog 10.12. Just looked that easy, true. Looks like a headwind - any tips for the final? I'll go for 9.90.

Pickering disappointed me - hasn't kicked on this year, unlike the guy Powell posted about - name escapes me.

Slight headwind for sprinters, currently ca. 26C/79F.

Wow. He could probably break 10 seconds running uphill, with the proverbial piano on his back...

Well, at least he had to run 100m today. Wasn't clear till 80m. I'm advising JG to 'wait till next year'. I think this one belongs to AP.

Scott had a SB in second - 10.01.

Bloody impressive. Too much to expect some low 9.8s, or are we spoilt?

I'm still not losing interest, I wanna see him against Gatlin ASAP.

Beidiz, what basic time converter do you mean?

My patriotism makes me lean towards Gatlin as a fan..but that Powell is killing it! Am I crazy or is it rare for someone to be so consistently within .15 of the world record? Place your Smokin' Jamaican pun here.

Sorry! Correction: Make that eight (8)-straight sub-10 finals (including wind):

                            8 - Powell: May 6 - July 28, 2006 - Kingston (1:st, 9,95), Eugene (1:st, 9.93w), Oslo (1:st, 9,98), Gateshead (1:st, 9,77), Paris Saint-Denis (1:st, 9,85), Rome (1:st, 9,85), Stockholm (1:st, 9,86), London (1:st, 9,91)!

Greene had at best six (6)-straight sub-10 finals.

                              Peterman

there was a wind+altitude correcter on a website i believe someone from this forum created. it had the all time lists for the basic times too.

i lost the link since i changed computers and cant find it googling now
