    Thx

Thanks for the info, EP and LI. Sounds like a good guy who will do well at Tennessee.

He's fast. He can run all 3 sprint events very well and he has a lot of potential. Kinda on the short side, 5' 7". But, he's a good kid and I wish him the best at UT.

Can anybody talk about Evander Wells of Stone Mountain High outside of Atlanta? He is the premier sprinter in Georgia and has signed with Tennessee. Any vital info would be appreciated as well as comments about his style. He was quoted in Sunday's paper in the article about Justin.

Gatlin's doping test fresh blow to sports

There's nothing Stone Mountain sprint star Evander Wells would like more than to smash Justin Gatlin's shared world record in the 100-meter dash.

But if it means doing it the way Gatlin is now being accused of --- by putting something in his body he shouldn't have --- Wells will pass.

"You expect athletes to just go out there and perform," said Wells, the state 100-meter dash champ, who'll follow in Gatlin's footsteps next season and run for the University of Tennessee. "To get better, you just train harder. You don't do anything you know is illegal."
