  • Pechonkina Comeback

    http://eng.rusathletics.com/sbo/atlet.php?atlet=93

As you can see, she is down to run in the Moscow challenge. I don't know why, but I think she is going to run very fast.

Good prediction - Pechonkina ran 53.14 to win the Russian Challenge over Demus (54.29).

How very strange...she could have won the European title easily if she was in this sort of form...

i prefer to rub vodka into my oesophagus

ayhows, she expects to run faster than 53.14 in waf :

if i was demus & had any clout, i'd ask to be drawn in 4 or 5 with pecho one lane outter

pecho obviously is looking for <53 :

lashy can use her as the rabbit to drag herself to < 53, & records ( not that she'd have needed a rabbit if she was in the form of '04 trials semi ! )

Her entry on the VFLA website (http://www.rusathletics.com/sbo/atlet.php?atlet=93) lists her as ...
                  Носова-Печенкина (Печенкина) Юлия Сергеевна
I'm not sure what it means that they've got both a hyphenated form and her married name in parentheses.

This is an official IAAF event, which means lane draw is not negotiable.

And to be specific, they'll be seeded by marks on yearly list.

In a race like the 400 how does that seeding work, is it completely assigned (e.g., 4,5,3,6,2,7,1,8) or do they randomly draw groups (1st,2nd,3rd into 3,4,5; etc.)?

In all lane races top four get 3,4, 5 or 6 randomly and bottom four get 1,2,7 or 8 randomly. 100m-800m including hurdles
why don't people pronounce vowels anymore
