He'd certainly be in the mix in against these guys (Top 4 for 2006):
10.37 [+0.7] Anastasios GOUSIS (79), 10 Jun, Trikala (NC final)
10.40 Evaggelos HALASTARAS, 08 Jul, Katerini.
10.43 [+0.7] Panayotis SARRIS (75), 10 Jun, Trikala (NC final).
10.49 [+1.1] Aristidis PETRIDIS (79), 28 May, Kifisia

Actually GOUSSIS run 10.27 (+0.9) yesterday at the test event for the Athletics World Cup in Athens. He is mainly a 200 & 400 runner (pb 20.44 & 45.55).
Greece used to have a strong field in 100m with at least one performance under 10.20 every year. I don't know if Macrozonaris can be the solution as I have learned that he has often injury problems.

I don't know why this happens with white sprinters. They seem to be "burned out" too quickly. They usually have one or in the best cases two good seasons and then they are almost shadows of themselves.
We used to have a teenager (EFTHIMIOS STERGIOULIS) who once run 10.33 at the age of 17. He then run 10.38 at the age of 19. Now he is 21 and he runs around 10.60.
In Greece we have often injury problems (FANI HALKIA missed last season and MARIA KARASTAMATI, the European U23 champion in 100m last year with a pb 11.03 is also injured and didn't compete this year). KONSTADINOS GATSIOUDIS in javelin hasn't compete since 2002 after a series of surgeries and this year he showed up just once. MIRELA MANIANI in women' javelin had surgery and didn't compete either.
