Isn't Sun Y. the one who runs with her arms straight down?

Yes. See www.iaaf.org there is a shot of here from the 10k in Paris.

Is it just me, or is her bizarre style just excruciating to watch? No impressionable young kids should be allowed to see video of her in action.

            kuha that is funny.

Wish I could find photos on the IAAF site but they seem to be hard to find.

Man, I must be too smart for this board :-p
You go the IAAF site (www.iaaf.org), then you go to 'Multimedia' and choose 'Search' from the menu which appears. You then type 'Sun Yingjie' in the search window and it finds what you want.

Or, if that's too complicated for ya, just go directly to http://www.iaaf.org/multimedia/search.h ... un+Yingjie

What's really cool is I didn't even need to do that, as you most graciouisly found it for me.

                    Re: beijing marathon

These must be pictures of some other athlete. In every shot, her arms actually seem to be functioning normally (that is, bending at the elbow and moving).

Kuha1, I believe that is her in the photos.
Contrary to popular opinion there are actual moments when said runner does bend her arms! For
example, at Boston a few years ago, in the early stages of the race she used her "bucket-carrying"
routine when the pace was a bit slow. However, when the pace picked up said runner was forced to
drop the "buckets" and start running like a normal
person. Even Larry Rawson noticed this.

I know. I'm just being a wiseacre, while making it clear just how BIZARRE and (seemingly) unnatural her "style" is.
