...if true? Kind of hard to believe anything from
    Conte though.

"The "world's fastest man' and the "world's fastest woman,' Tim Montgomery and Marion Jones, have both been subpoenaed to testify before a Grand Jury."

    Re: The new Dubin...

Aside from the interesting math on ages, I find it funny how they bring in supposed morality into the article:
"Jones and Montgomery, who have a 2-year-old child though they're not married,"

Ah! They must be doing something sinister! They have a quick ageing kid and they ARE NOT MARRIED!

          Re: The new Dubin...

someone posted this on another message message.
Just imagine, he applied those drugs to all those positives and they didn´t know about it and they get banned. A few months later it comes out that they really did not know about it being a steroid. I guess Conte would be in for more trouble cos he would be sued by a bunch of athletes. The positive ones, and those who weren´t positives, but whose reputations have been tarnished, too. lol, that might be something.

Another thing, does Conte have the right to name Jones, Montgomery´s and Bonds´ names? I kinda doubt that.

And You guys are right, Tim Jr. must have been growing rapidly. If he continues to do so, he will beat his dad in two years to become 100m World Champion.

Well, under the doping rules it is not necessary to demonstrate intent in order to ban an athlete. And rightly so - steroids help your performance just as much if (and it's a BIG 'if') you take them unknowingly. It may matter from the moral point of view, but it's still gaining an unfair advantage over fellow competitors and thus 'cheating'.

I know that. Still a lot of those athletes who tested postitive for Nandrolone who used exactly this as an excuse got away unpunished.
I also think that some will say "how should we know it´s related. He gave it to us as a vitamin and minerals. My doc checked everyting and could find nothing that said it was a related substance...

Still, if it came out like that, that they didn´t know it, Conte will be a poor man in the future, cos he would have to pay those people.

                None of them should have.

                Not relevant.

That's Conte's problem. Eddie has already started a fund at www.savethebalcoexecutives.com to help him if you would care to contribute.

Why should I? I don´t care about the guy. I just think it would be funny if it turned out the way like I wrote.

This is not just a "related" substance. It's a chemically-classifiable anabolic steroid. All anabolic steroids are banned substances, no ifs,
                    ands, or buts.

The "tainted supplement" argument doesn't apply here. Besides, they're supposed to know exactly what it is they're putting in their system. That is also clearly stated in the rule book.

The funniest part of the the artical is when it says that Bonds is the greatest hitter in baseball!

I don't think much will come of this as I don't think the various levels of US government don't want to see how termite infested the house is(the level of drug usage in all sports). Sometimes I wonder if the bridge and poker players are taking beta blockers to calm themselves before a day of card playing........
