When old threads get resurrected out of the blue (in this case rather oddly since the bumper comment had nothing to do with the 150m world best) it can feel like you've gone back in a time machine until you notice the dates.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - I was totally fooled!

Although according to this thread, MJ went through 150m in 14.57 in the Atlanta OG final:

    http://mb.trackandfieldnews.com/discuss ... hp?t=23509

Fredericks was at 14.80e, and Boldon 14.94. Presumably X-man and Tyson managed similar numbers this year.

Feel free to debate the merits of a whole turn and 50m straight vs 50m bend and 100m straight (or thereabouts)....

    Hey thanks

That kinda threw me for a loop but I guess if its on the books it counts.

Is that wind legal and non-altitude.

And why should he be the one to hold that record----was that his "perfect distance" or just happens that its not run often enough to judge?

Does anyone have info on the best 150m performances?

I read that Pietro Mennea had the fastest - 14.8 - is that right?
