In AW a while ago, their coach reckoned he wouldn't be surprised to see them running around 14 minutes.

I read in an old AW that Abeylegesse's coach (an ex-Bulgarian TJer) said that if they'd timed her coming down from altitude training better in 2004, she'd have been in sub-14 shape by Athens.

Just how steep is that course? I can't belief it would be IAAF-approved, but still, it would be something to see her tear down that mountain road!
