Man, you're on a roll! First X-man, now Richards. Two fine athletes you've accused of dogging it in the space of a few days.

There's no crime in fine athletes enjoying life and looking out for their interests.

Without any proof whatsoever you have suggested that both Richards and X turned in sub-par performances because of excess partying (which can have who knows how many interpretations?). Not that this is outside the realm of possibility, but the fact is that without any proof it is just base and negative speculation

I've read conflicting stories about how the clock is started. In any event, I believe as long as the clock is started and stopped electonically, and not by a human, the time is legit. Reaction time need not be included.

I posted earlier that she wasn't competing at Penn because she said she wasn't feeling well. That was a direct e-mail from her to us. You subsequently suggested she was just off partying, which means by extension lying to us.

Everything I've read suggests that the clock is started by humans. Could you post the articles to which you're referring?

I meant to suggest that maybe she will be off partying, not was just off partying. And yes, maybe she wasn't being candid with you, but I'm still a fan. Like you were saying on another post, we can't let facts get in the way of speculation and conjecture.

While it has nothing to do with the track aspect of the story, I was relieved to read that they plan a two year engagement.

Call me jaded, but people just finishing college are almost never mature enough to be ready for marriage.
